Share your SmartStake referral link or discount code — friends who use your code get 10% off their first payment, and you earn a 25% commission on each referred subscriber's first three months.
How the referral program works
SmartStake runs a referral program that pays you a commission when someone signs up for a paid plan through your personal referral link or discount code. You earn 25% of each referred subscriber's payments for their first three months. When a friend signs up with your discount code, they also get 10% off their first payment — so the code is worth sharing on its own. There is no cap on the number of people you can refer. Terms and conditions apply.
The program is powered by Rewardful, a third-party affiliate platform. Your account is created there automatically once you are a paying subscriber and visit your profile — no separate sign-up is needed.
Finding your referral link and code
Your referral link and your personal discount code are both on your Profile page, in the "Invite Friends" section near the bottom. Once your affiliate account is ready, each appears there with its own copy button:
- Referral link — paste it anywhere (a text message, a Discord server, a tweet). Anyone who signs up for a paid plan after clicking it is credited to you.
- Discount code — a short code your friends type into the checkout. It gives them 10% off their first payment and credits the sale to you.
If the link or code has not appeared yet, your affiliate account may still be setting up on the backend. Refreshing the page after a few seconds usually resolves it.
Subscription required
Your referral link is only generated after your Stripe subscription is active. Free-plan users do not have a link until they upgrade.
Tracking your commissions
The Affiliate portal button on your Profile page opens your Rewardful dashboard in a new tab. From there you can see every referred subscriber, the status of each commission (pending, confirmed, paid), and your total earnings. Payouts are handled directly by Rewardful according to their payout schedule.
Sharing your link or code
There are no restrictions on where you share your link or code, but your referrals must sign up for a paid SmartStake plan for the commission to apply. A referred user who stays on the free plan does not generate a commission. The 10% discount applies only when a friend enters your code at checkout — the link alone credits you the commission but does not discount their payment.
