How filters shape the signal

Smart Money surfaces bets where order-book depth across exchanges indicates informed money has moved a line. The filters let you control which signals reach your feed — tightening toward fewer, higher-conviction results or loosening to see everything the market is flagging. Liquidity filters

The two liquidity controls work together to define what counts as a meaningful signal.

• Min Liquidity — a dollar threshold applied to the total order-book depth behind each signal. The server applies a default floor of approximately $200, so low-volume noise is already filtered out before your feed loads. Raising this value narrows the feed to bets where a larger amount of capital is committed on the exchange side, which generally means stronger, better-tested signals. Lowering it (or clearing it) lets thinner markets through.
• Liquidity Bookmakers — selects which exchanges and liquidity sources contribute to the depth calculation. The available sources are Sporttrade, NoVig, ProphetX, 4Caster, 4CX, Polymarket, and Kalshi. By default only NoVig, ProphetX and Kalshi are counted. Clear the filter to count every source, or pick your own set to focus on the exchanges you trust or have access to. The filter changes the fair value as well as the depth.

Sportsbooks

The Sportsbooks filter controls which retail books appear in results. Smart Money shows the sportsbook line that moved alongside the exchange signal, so restricting to books where you hold accounts means every result is immediately actionable for you. Clearing the filter shows signals across all books in your region. On screens 1024px and wider, the header also shows the logos of your selected sportsbooks (or All sportsbooks); tap it to open the filters.

Sports, leagues, and markets

• Leagues — limits results to specific leagues, grouped by sport. Leave empty to see all ~36 active leagues SmartStake covers.
• Markets — a hierarchical picker that lets you include only the bet types you want, such as moneylines, spreads, totals, or specific player props. Leave it empty to see all market types.
• Direction — choose Overs Only, Unders Only, or Both, the default. Overs Only and Unders Only keep over/under lines such as totals and player props, so moneylines and spreads drop out of the feed while either is selected.
• Odds — a min/max range filter to exclude lines outside the odds window you are comfortable betting. Set only one bound to create a one-sided cap or floor.
• Min Bet Size — hides sportsbook lines whose maximum bet size is below the dollar amount you enter, so every result can take at least that stake. Lines where the book does not report a limit stay in the feed.
• Date Range — restricts results to games starting within a chosen window. The default ("All") includes all upcoming events.

Bankroll and stake sizing

The header above the feed shows your stake settings as one line, for example $5.0k bankroll · 1% stake. Tap either value to change it. From tablet width up it becomes an editable field in place: press Enter or click away to save, or Escape to cancel. On a phone it opens a drawer with Save and Cancel. Bankroll is your total betting bankroll in dollars, and stake is the percentage of it (up to 100%) you want to size each Smart Money bet at. When you take a bet, the wager slip pre-fills the stake as bankroll × stake%, so you do not have to do the arithmetic manually each time. These values are saved to your preferences and shared with other tools that use flat-percentage sizing. For Kelly-based sizing used by the Positive EV tool, see Bankroll, Kelly & stake sizing.

Settings panel

The settings button (a sliders icon) at the right end of the header opens the Settings panel, which controls display and refresh behaviour rather than which signals appear:

• Odds format — American or decimal.
• Hide taken bets — removes bets you have already recorded in the Bet Tracker from the feed.
• Hide correlated bets — removes bets that would correlate with wagers you have already taken in the same game.
• Show hidden bets — reveals bets you have manually hidden.
• Pregame refresh interval — how often the feed re-queries the server. Options are manual, 10s, 30s, and 60s. The round button at the left of the header controls updates: with an interval set it pauses and resumes auto-refresh, and on manual it refreshes the feed once. You can also press Space to pause or resume. The line under your stake shows the current state and when the feed last updated. Once you scroll down, a filter button with your active filter count appears in the header so you can open the filters without scrolling back up.
• Market view books and Line history books — configure which books appear in the Market View and Line History overlays when you inspect a signal. These are covered in Reading liquidity depth.
