Filters & settings
A guide to every filter and setting in the Arbitrage Finder — arb percentage range, minimum bet size, the middles toggle, sportsbook selection, leagues, markets, date range, and display preferences.
How filters work
Every filter in the Arbitrage Finder sends a fresh query to the board. Changes take effect after a short debounce — roughly half a second — so you can adjust multiple controls without triggering a reload on each keystroke. All filter state persists for your session and can be saved as a named configuration; you can store up to five saved filters per tool and receive push alerts when matching arbs appear. Filters
- Sportsbooks — restricts the board to matched bets where both sides come from books in your selection. By default this is set to the books available in your location. Narrowing the list to books where you actually hold funded accounts keeps results actionable.
- Leagues — limits results to the sports and leagues you choose. Useful if you focus on specific sports or want to cut down on noise outside your area of knowledge.
- Markets — drills into bet types within those leagues: moneylines, spreads, totals, player props, and so on. Selecting a subset is useful when you want to focus on markets you are comfortable pricing quickly.
- Arb % — sets a minimum and/or maximum profit percentage. The percentage displayed on each card is the modelled return as a fraction of total stake across both sides, assuming both legs are placed at the displayed prices and settle. Setting a minimum (for example 0.5%) hides the thinnest arbs that may not be worth the trouble of splitting stake across two books; setting a maximum can filter out results that look too good to be true and warrant extra scrutiny.
- Min Bet Size — hides any arb where the recommended stake on either side falls below the dollar amount you enter. This keeps the feed clear of arbs whose stake sizes are too small to be worth executing given transfer or withdrawal minimums at a book.
- Middles — a three-way toggle: Arbs Only, Middles Only, or Both (the default). A middle is a matched bet where the two sides cover a gap — if the result lands inside that gap, both bets win. Middles carry a different risk profile than standard arbs, so separating them lets you focus the board on whichever type you are looking for. See Middles: win both sides for a full explanation.
- Date Range — available in pregame mode only; limits results to events starting within All, Today, 24 Hours, 3 Days, or 7 Days. This is disabled when the board is in live mode.
- Game Status — available in live mode only; lets you filter to games that are currently live or currently stopped (for example, between periods). This is disabled in pregame mode.
Start broad, then narrow
Leave sportsbooks set to everything in your location when you first open the board, then narrow once you see which books are generating the most arbs for your area. Filtering too aggressively up front can hide opportunities that arrive and vanish in seconds.
Settings
The settings panel — opened with the gear icon in the toolbar — controls display and refresh behaviour rather than which arbs appear on the board.
- Odds format — switches all prices between American (+110, -110) and decimal (2.10, 1.91) formats.
- Pregame refresh interval — sets how often the board re-queries in pregame mode: manually (you trigger each refresh), every 10 seconds, every 30 seconds, or every 60 seconds. In live mode the board updates as odds change — in near-real-time for some books and within about four seconds for others — and this setting has no effect.
- Card tap action — controls what happens on mobile when you tap a bet card: expand it in place, pin it to the top of the board, or both.
- Hide taken bets — suppresses any arb where one or both sides already appear as a wager in your recent bet history, so you do not accidentally double-up on a position.
- Hide correlated bets — suppresses arbs where one or both sides correlate with a bet you have already taken, reducing exposure to results that move together.
- Show hidden bets — when enabled, reveals arbs you have previously hidden by swiping or dismissing a card.
- Market view books — configures which books appear in the Market View panel when you drill into a specific market from the card.
Saving your configuration
Once you have a filter set you use regularly, save it with the save button in the filters panel. Saved configurations can trigger push notifications on web and iOS whenever a new arb matches. - Odds, prices, expected value, conversion rates, and profit figures shown are estimates based on the last data we retrieved. They can change at any time — confirm the current price at the book before you bet, as odds may move and entry errors can occur.
- Arbitrage and matched betting carry execution risk: a price can move or a leg can be rejected before you place both sides, and sportsbooks may limit or void bets. A favorable outcome is not guaranteed.
- Using a “sharp” book as a fair-value reference is a modeling choice, not a statement of accuracy. Review a book’s record yourself and anchor on the books you trust.
