What the Fantasy tool does

Fantasy compares player-prop lines from pick'em platforms with estimated fair probabilities. Choose your platform and slip type, then use the board to assess picks against that slip's breakeven probability. On phones and tablets, tap the search bar to open a full-screen search that asks where you play and which slip you want, one step at a time, then tap Search. The refresh button beside the search bar reloads the board without reopening the search.

Supported platforms include PrizePicks, Underdog Fantasy, Sleeper, Chalkboard, and others. The available platforms and markets depend on current coverage. See Sportsbooks, exchanges, and leagues.

The current release is Fantasy 2.0, which adds a rebuilt SmartStake Line, Custom pricing across different lines, expanded market comparisons, main line history, and more filters.

How the comparison works

The board shows a fair-value estimate for each pick and compares its probability with the breakeven probability of your selected slip. That difference is the pick's edge. Changing the slip changes the breakeven benchmark.

The estimate may come from sportsbook prices at the pick's exact line or, on supported markets, from prices at another line translated to the pick's point. A positive estimated edge does not guarantee a winning pick or slip.

Where the fair price comes from

The Model filter offers two sources:

• Default: the SmartStake Line, priced from a fixed reference pool with margin and liquidity checks. No book setup is required.
• Custom: a weighted blend of your selected books. You control the weights, required books, minimum contributors, devig method, and per-book margin ceiling.

Both models include supported line discrepancies by default. Turn on Hide line discrepancies to restrict the board to picks priced at their exact line.

The Devig Method filter applies only to Custom. Default already supplies a fair price. See Model settings for the controls and Devigging and fair value for the concepts.

Odds books

Most platforms pay a fixed table for each slip. Five price each pick on its own instead: Chalkboard, Sleeper, Boom Fantasy, ParlayPlay, and Splash Sports. The platform list groups them under Odds, apart from the Pick'em platforms.

When you choose an Odds platform, there is no slip type to pick, so the second step reads Odds. On phones and tablets, switch to the Odds tab at the top of the search and choose your platform.

An Odds board shows each pick's price and its EV: the fair probability multiplied by the price, minus one. The board is ranked by EV and shows only picks with a positive EV. Both models apply as usual: Default uses the pick's SmartStake Line, and Custom uses your own books.

Picks from an Odds platform go into a parlay slip, as on Positive EV. The slip multiplies the picks' prices and shows the slip's combined probability and EV. A taken slip is added to the Bet Tracker as a parlay, or a single for one pick, under Fantasy.

Fantasy Alerts are not available for Odds platforms. Chalkboard, Sleeper, Boom Fantasy, and ParlayPlay also appear on Positive EV, so set a Positive EV filter alert instead. Splash Sports appears only on Fantasy and has no alert. See Saved filters.

Power and Flex slips

A Power slip requires every pick to win for the stated payout. A Flex slip uses a payout table that can pay for fewer than all picks winning, depending on the platform and slip type.

Choose the slip before comparing picks so their edge reflects the correct breakeven benchmark. The builder shows the selected payout structure and calculates the slip's expected value from its picks' probabilities.

Filtering the board

Leagues, Markets, Direction, Pushes, and Date Range are applied when the board is fetched. They select matching picks before the board's result limit, rather than just hiding rows already loaded.

• Leagues: limit the board to the leagues you follow.
• Markets: select a whole sport, a market type, or individual markets. Search for a market or navigate through Sport, Market Type, and Market.
• Direction: choose Overs Only, Unders Only, or Both, the default.
• Pushes: Show, the default, includes whole-number lines. Hide removes lines that can push and keeps half-point lines.
• Model: choose Default or Custom and set whether line discrepancies are allowed.
• Min comparison books: under Default, require a minimum number of contributors at the pricing point.
• Min sharps and Max vig per book: under Custom, set contributor requirements and each book's maximum margin.
• Devig Method: under Custom, choose how margin is removed from reference prices.
• Date Range: limit the board to games starting within a window.

Save a preset to restore your model, book configuration, and board filters together. To be alerted when enough picks clear a slip's breakeven, open the bell on the board. See Saved filters.

Comparing a pick with the market

Open a pick for its comparison table. When the board has room for full-width cards, the pick expands in place. When the cards are compact, on screens under 1024px or when the slip builder narrows the board, selecting a pick opens its details instead. From 768px up they appear in a panel that slides over the right side of the page while the board stays usable; close it with the button at its top right or Escape. On a phone they open full screen, sliding in from the right; tap the back arrow or swipe right to close them. The table shows each comparison book's line, prices, and point difference from your pick. Under Custom, books counted in the estimate lead the table and are highlighted.

The main line history chart tracks sportsbooks' main lines against the selected Fantasy line. The separate price history chart shows odds movement. Picks with Smart Money liquidity also have a liquidity view.

Getting access

The Fantasy tool is open to you if you hold either paid plan:

• Fantasy: the Fantasy tool on its own, at $49 a month billed monthly, or $499 billed yearly. It includes the whole board, both models, the slip builder, the comparison and history views, the Smart Money picks the board mixes in, and Fantasy Alerts, plus the features every paid plan shares, such as closing line value on your own wagers.
• Premium: every SmartStake tool, Fantasy included.

On Tuesdays, every signed-in account can use the Fantasy tool without a subscription.

On other days, opening Fantasy without a plan shows both plans side by side. Choosing Fantasy on the pricing page goes straight to a page for Fantasy alone, even if you still need to sign in or create an account first. New accounts that have never held a SmartStake subscription can start either plan with a 5-day free trial; there is one trial per account across both plans. A Fantasy subscriber can upgrade to Premium in place at any time, and a Premium subscriber already has Fantasy, so there is no need to buy it separately.
